at the middle of the earth!

Andy & Kim Graham visited the Staub Family In Brazil from July 26th until Aug 1st, 2006. We packed so much into their seven days in Macapá. They were a HUGE blessing to us while they were here and helped transport six extra bags for us on their return trip to the USA! As we transition into new phases of mission work, it was great to have such good friends here to see first hand what God has done through us on the Amazon River in Equatorial, Macapá, Brazil.

The week after Andy & Kim left for the USA we installed the ‘Graham Filter’. Another family with clean water.

We didn’t expect payment for the Água da Rocha water filter. Wanting to give us something in return, she offered me this bunch of bananas! Of course I accepted.

Andy & Kim Graham had lots of experience in the ‘Bread Machine’, the silly name for the VW van we drive here in Macapá. (We call it the Bread Machine because it is basically a big, white, metal box, and when you are in it, you bake. :) )

Is it ‘Enjoying God, Loving People or Loving People, Enjoying God.‘? I think either is correct.

Andy & Kim went bananas in Brazil! Let me quote Andy. “Happy wife, happy life!”

Thank-you Andy & Kim for EVERYTHING!

Água da Rocha has been multiplied again! Imgp7951mod

Thanks to the very generous support of the people from the Elwood Assembly of God, we were able to purchase a new mold and hand it over to a Brazilian AoG Pastor!!!!! In fact, the leader of all the Assembly of God churches in the state of Amapá where we live has approved the Água da Rocha project for the whole state of Amapá and is very excited that we were able to provide so much for their group. See, a few people can make a HUGE difference! Now the work of ‘giving a cup of water in Jesus’ name’ is again duplicated.

You are a part of a team that moves the Staub Family in Brazil to success at whatever God has for us.

Thank-you for all you have done, and continue to do for us!

We love having people over to visit! Hospitality brings with it the return gift of meeting very interesting people. The DeJong’s have been married 14 months and are again in Brazil, finding out what God has for their lives in answering the call to GO to the nations. They stopped by for lunch with Rachel Trengrove as they were on their way from the airport to help out with the YWAM Health Impact this month. It was a quick but excellent visit and we made some new friends from Holland.

DeJong

Jonathan and Johanneke DeJong

Johanneke DeJong until 14 months ago was Johanneke Lukasse. Her mother wrote the book below,  A Cry from the Streets and is a must read for anyone with a heart for missions. This book describes how the Lukasse family ministers to street children in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. So, open up your home to a few guests, it is fun to see who will show up.

Recently, a small group that the Staub Family is involved with here in Macapá, Brazil had a great time of prayer, praise and worship at the monument that marks the line of the Equator.

Imgp6343mod

We intereceded not only for Brazil but for unreached people throughout the world.

Imgp6350mod

The entire group marched around the monument, declaring victory for God’s glory.

At the end of our time the Shofar was blown at the Equator, the sound symbolically encircling the globe with the call to, “GO!” to the nations.
